The marketing assistant is responsible for working with the operations groups, project managers through senior vice presidents, in their pursuits to get work. The marketing assistant participates in all stages of the pursuit, from strategy to proposal preparation to presentations, in a deadline-driven environment.
Some of the marketing assistant’s duties for project pursuits include:
- Collaborating with operations to determine best strategy in responding to an RFQ / RFP.
- Developing relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.).
- Editing content to ensure quality, accuracy, readability, etc.
- Transforming text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses.
- Preparing teams for client presentations.
- Performing market research.
The majority of the position is working with:
- Adobe InDesign.
- Microsoft Office 365 including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Adobe Photoshop (an extensive knowledge of the program is a plus, but not a requirement).
- Company opportunity management software.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications and should be proficient in the software mentioned above. Sporadic travel is required, generally occurring 1-3 days at a time.

The Block 23 project is a large, high-rise, mixed-use development in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The development will feature a 450,000 SF residential tower, a 640,000 SF parking deck, a 200,000 SF office tower and three levels of underground apartment parking. The ground level will have 16,000 SF of retail space, a 43,000 SF Fry’s grocery store and the lobbies for the office and apartments. Lower levels will include parking, retail and office space, a pool, fitness room, maker’s room and a lounge. The upper levels will include five stories of office space constructed adjacent to a 13-story residential tower with approximately 330 apartment units.
Roland Park Place Independent Living Expansion, Baltimore, Maryland
Roland Park Place is a life plan community located in Baltimore, Maryland. The community is adding 58 new residences in an eight-story building that will overlook green and serene downtown surroundings. The new building will feature a salon and spa, club room, parking and a fourth-floor terrace for the community to enjoy. The 200,000 SF structure is comprised of five stories of wood frame construction over a three-story concrete podium with one level underground.
Beebe Healthcare Campus - Rehobooth, Delaware
The Rehoboth Health Campus entails the construction of a new freestanding Specialty Surgical Hospital located southwest of the existing Bookhammer Outpatient Center and Beebe’s Tunnell Cancer Center. It will be a 135,000 SF surgical hospital for short-term inpatient procedures. The four-story building will offer imaging and limited emergency services, surgery and inpatient rooms. Clinical components of the program will include 24 inpatient beds, one shelled floor for a future Women’s Department, a surgery floor with four operating rooms and one shelled operating room, 18 prep/recovery spaces, an imaging department with one CT, two X-rays and one ultrasound.
