RUDOLPH AND SLETTEN has an immediate need for a Superintendent with Healthcare experience to coordinate field operations for large scale, fast track projects with a commitment to quality and safe construction processes. This includes managing the use of material and manpower on the job site and creating client satisfaction and company profit. This position reports directly to a Senior Superintendent, Fields Operations Manager or other assigned supervisors. This position is located in San Carlos, CA.
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include, but are not limited to: training and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, delegating and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving employee issues.

Special skills: Basic working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems – particularly; Excel, Word and Outlook, etc.
Basic knowledge of Prolog software desired.
Basic knowledge of scheduling, estimating and cost principles desired. Basic knowledge of CAD 2000 or CAD 3-D is desired.
Education and Experience:
Certification: Not applicable.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related filed is desired, a combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience: A minimum of eight years in field construction management or related field.

On occasion it may be necessary to lift and carry or manipulate items of up to 50 lbs., walk over uneven or unpaved ground to reach a worksite in construction zones. This position may be required to perform a variety of construction tasks in all areas and aspects of the construction project—including scaffold or platform work, confined spaces and exposure to outside elements. If your position requires you to enter the field it is mandatory that you wear approved Personal Protective Equipment. This position may be required to work schedules which may include shift work, such as; dayshift, swing-shift, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend shifts. This position may also require occasional travel as necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision, and ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment.

The Terminal One project at Newark Liberty International Airport involves the design and construction of a new 1 million-square-foot, 33-gate domestic terminal with an open and modern layout. This Tutor Perini/Parsons Design-Build project also includes the N60 Frontage Road Bridge and a pedestrian bridge with moving walkways. Upon completion, this new terminal will be LEED Silver certified.
Located on the Mohegan Tribe’s reservation in Connecticut, this project added 4,930,000 square feet for hotel, casino, retail, arena, dining and parking. Delivered on a fast-track schedule, construction of each component was phased to allow key elements to be opened prior to the total completion of the facility. The 34-story hotel tower has 1,200 luxurious guest rooms and 186 suites offering an abundance of space, and the latest amenities and business technologies.
