Position Overview

Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Perini Management Services, Inc., division of Tutor Perini Corporation, is looking to for a part-time administrative assistant in our Etobicoke, Ontario office.

Primary Function:

Compete clerical and secretarial support services including administrative duties two (2) days per week.

Typical Duties:

  • Compose and/or edit letters, memos, report, procedures, etc., as required
  • Act as a liaison between supervisor and others including team members, external contacts, clients, etc. Such liaison may including arranging meetings, clarifying or resolving problems, coordinating work, maintaining working relationships, and public relations.
  • Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e. expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budget, etc.) per supervisor’s authorization.
  • Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis per supervisor’s request.
  • Review spreadsheets for accuracy and process based on an understanding of company policies and sound judgement.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:  

  • Educational and experience requirements include: 4 year business or technical degree plus minimum 2 years administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and related experience.
  • Must have a proficient understanding of the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be organized and have high-level attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
