Position Description: The HQ Wrap Administrator in the brokerage is the primary and front-line contact for all subcontractors in Wrap Programs and is responsible for overall Wrap program management for multiple Client programs. The position works closely with Wrap Program Managers on Client programs and generally reports to a Department Supervisor or Manager.

The position requires in-depth insurance and Wrap program technical knowledge. The Wrap Administrator must quickly develop a thorough understanding of each Client's Wrap program, including the participating insurance companies, coverage limits, and reporting standards and must be able to prepare and interpret complex insurance documentation, including ACORD certificates, Endorsements, and Policies. The Wrap Administrator must also possess the ability to explain complex insurance concepts and Wrap program practices to a non-technical audience to ensure on-going Program compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

  • Independently analyze insurance requirements for Wrap Programs, develop and implement procedures required to administer each Program, communicate procedures to stakeholders as required by each Program
  • Train Program participants on vendor systems and Program requirements; provide on-going support to participants throughout life of the individual Wrap Program.
  • Independently prepare, review, and issue Wrap Program insurance documents including Enrollment forms, ACORD certificates, Endorsements, and Insurance Cost Worksheets.
  • Draft technical responses to subcontractor questions.
  • Prepare and issue Enrollment documents; quality check for accuracy and compliance with Wrap Program requirements, participate in Client Roll-out meetings.
  • Work on final audit and close-out documents; participate in final audit meetings with Client, Insurance Companies, and Subcontractors.
  • Prepare periodic Program status reports on various topics including quality issues, vendor production reports, and vendor QA/QC reports. Report findings and make recommendations for corrective actions to supervisory staff for distribution to various stakeholders which may include the Executive Management Group and/or Client.
  • Work closely with Wrap system vendors and ensure that all Service Contract standards are met; report on performance deficiencies; identify and implement improvements to systems processes to continuously improve TSIB performance.
  • Monitor document queue and ensure that it is cleared on a daily basis

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or similar program; or a minimum of four years' insurance or Wrap-up administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and various insurance-based RMIS or brokerage management systems. Ability to understand and interpret contract and insurance documents and forms. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external. Ability to travel.

Work Environment: On a regular basis this job is performed in an office environment with usual office working conditions, free of disagreeable elements. On an occasional basis, the employee may travel to and work at a job site location or client office location and be located in a trailer or other temporary structure. The noise in this work environment may be moderately loud.
