The Vice President Quality will be responsible for the overall management, direction and implementation of the quality program for the company. Reporting directly to the COO, you will develop and implement quality policies, procedures and processes for the organization, including driving knowledge use within the company and managing quality data analytics. Located on a 6.5-acre site, which previously housed a lodge that was almost completely demolished to build the new property, the Lodge at Torrey Pines is adjacent to the Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course. McCarthy’s scope of work for the landmark hotel included construction of a new, 175,000-square-foot, four-level, U-shaped addition with 175 guest rooms; a separate, two-story building for presidential and governor luxury suites and spa; a courtyard; a grand terrace overlooking the Torrey Pines golf course; and a three-level, 269-car parking structure. Construction of public spaces included the porte-cochere, pool, lobby, restaurant, kitchen, meeting rooms and a new ballroom.
World-class home for the NFL Raiders upon the team’s relocation in 2020. The Mortenson | McCarthy joint venture team will build the $1.9 billion domed stadium, which will also host UNLV Football and a variety of other sporting and non-sporting events. The facility will feature 65,000 seats (expandable to 72,000), a retractable natural turf field, large operable walls that open to spectacular views of the neighboring Las Vegas Strip, and a variety of premium spaces throughout all levels. In addition to the stadium, the site will accommodate a mixed-use commercial development.
The four buildings consist of 42,000 square feet of shared classroom and dual credit space for Allen ISD,151,000 square feet of academic space to be used for classrooms, administration, common areas and student services, and 177,646 square feet of trade bar space to house the technical training classroom, open lab spaces, MEP shops, welding shops, automotive shops, carpentry shops, and several support areas such as offices, campus security, student bookstore, and breakout meeting areas.
