The Total Rewards Analyst is a key member of the Total Rewards team and is focused on providing McCarthy employees with a best-in-class employee experience. Their primary focus will be acting as an advocate for employee health concerns while assisting with the planning, design, implementation, communication and administration of McCarthy’s health and welfare program.

 Success in this role requires the individual to have a passion for supporting employees while, at the same time, the ability to prioritize multiple operational responsibilities.

  

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Advocate on employee’s behalf to address claims issues and other health plan concerns.
  • Answer employee hotline and email questions.
  • Process and analyze data related to employee health and wellness benefits, which includes partnering with HRIS team and Payroll to maintain data integrity, ensure timely, accurate benefits processing, and address concerns with vendor interfaces.
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of Total Rewards annual communication plan.
  • Educate employees on maximizing McCarthy’s benefit program.
  • Actively participate in vendor meetings.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment and day-to-day administration of benefit plans, including benefits system setup and maintenance.
  • Ensure timely review, validation and publication of legally required documents and benefit marketing materials.
  • Monitor local and national benefits trends – stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, ensure data accuracy, streamline work process, decrease turnaround time, and work cooperatively with team to provide quality, seamless customer service.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications – Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in employee benefits with expertise in data analysis, auditing, or reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong organization skills – ability to effectively prioritize work
  • Ability to perform independent in-depth analysis, evaluate, interpret, and articulate results
  • Action-oriented, hands-on, able to work independently and collaboratively with a sense of urgency
  • High level of professionalism with ability to maintain confidentiality
