Hanover is looking for a highly-motivated HR Generalist to act as the primary HR business partner for Hanover’s operating division in Ahmedabad, India. Working from the Houston Corporate Office, this individual will be a critical member of the HR team, building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with business unit leadership and their teams to ensure achievement of division goals. Responsibilities include : Collaborates with the HR team to develop and implement tactical HR plans to support the India platform including total reward systems, talent management, recruiting, performance appraisal, employee recognition and learning and development. Participates in the development, delivery and monitoring of various training programs, including leadership and supervisory training, new hire orientation, benefits orientation; Identifies the need for and facilitates learning and development opportunities. Conducts exit interviews to analyze separation trends, creates actionable plans to reduce turnover and provides regular feedback to division leadership. Collaborates across business units on complex HR special projects (i.e. employee engagement survey, compensation surveys). Responds to unemployment claims and employment verifications. Manages the company volunteer committee and actively participates in employee team-building events. Nurtures a positive culture in a remote work environment. Education, Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or related discipline strongly preferred At least 5+ years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including employee relations and training/development Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and analysis Ability to work independently and within a team environment on multiple assigned tasks/projects in both the US and India Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong training and presentation skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Extremely strong service orientation with a commitment to delivering strong internal customer service to employees and managers Knowledge of human resources laws and federal/state compliance requirements; PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point Hanover Company offers competitive salaries with performance-based bonuses and a robust benefits program which includes 401k with company match, company-paid medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans, and flexible spending accounts.
