Event Overview

The Urban Marketplace (UM) is a signature event for ULI Los Angeles. This year marks the 20th anniversary with the theme “A Reflection on Progress and a Vision for the Future.” Urban Marketplace’s purpose is to promote real estate investment opportunities and development strategies for investment in underserved communities. Urban Marketplace attracts real estate industry leaders, elected officials, policymakers, developers, planners, and dealmakers to “Make a Deal, Make a Difference.”

This year, UM will be held on five consecutive Thursdays from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm PST from September 10th to October 8th with three days dedicated to stellar speakers and panelists on focused topics and two days dedicated to roundtable discussions and breakouts on select topics.

As an added value, the first thirty minutes of each session will feature select cities presenting and showcasing recent planning efforts and/or areas that are ready for new investment. This is a great opportunity for developers and other deal makers to connect virtually with these city leaders.
