Company Overview
Founded in 2008, Roundhouse is a fully integrated developer and operator of multifamily housing. Starting with a single condominium purchased amidst the financial crisis in 2009, we have since developed and acquired a portfolio of over 5,000 multifamily homes.
Today, Roundhouse focuses exclusively on providing high quality housing options in emerging cities across the Western United States. In order to deliver superior experiences to our employees and residents we have built a fully integrated service offering that spans the construction, property management, and design disciplines. We build and operate our portfolio with a long-term focus. To further our investment objectives, we take an active approach to strengthening the communities in which we operate by building partnerships with the public sector, the design community, and local civic groups. Our projects have been recognized for their contributions to the built-environment and sustainability by Bloomberg, the LA Times, and AIA among others.Featured Projects
The Watercooler - Boise, ID
Roundhouse was selected through a competitive RFP process to redevelop this site into a leading edge 37-unit mixed-use property in partnership with Capital City Development Corporation, Boise’s redevelopment agency.
The Blackbirds - Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA
The project sets a precedent for the Small Lot Subdivision by taking a different approach to how we live, play, and interact. Blackbirds balances urban living, community, and nature with modernist architecture that thoughtfully blends private, semi-private and public spaces.
The Fowler - Boise, ID
Conveniently located between the bustle of downtown Boise and the comfort of Julia Davis Park, The Fowler is downtown Boise’s first urban, mid-rise mixed-use apartment community.
The Vineyards - Colorado, Springs, CO.
Acquired in 2016, The Vineyards of Colorado Springs is a Roundhouse value-add redevelopment project that featured a complete redesign of the clubhouse and unit interior upgrades.
